InsPyro wants to develop a toolbox for the life cycle analysis of metal production. The toolbox needs to allow for a flexible analysis of different production facilities with a structured and transparant method. InsPyro believes that the strategy of making an overall mass and energy balance of a production plant is the starting point of such toolbox. We are looking for partners with a production plant who are interested to have an online tool after the project that allows them to obtain a process LCA in line with the coporate sustainability reporting directive of the EU regarding environmental impact. We also look for a partner with experience in the legal aspects of this directive to ensure a correct application.
