Founded in 1997 as a private non-profit institution, Kadir Has University (KHAS) is one of the leading mid-size universities in Istanbul, Turkey. The university has more than 6,000 undergraduate and around 1,000 postgraduate students. With exceptional academic staff and a wide range of educational and research opportunities, Kadir Has University has become a highly respected academic institution worldwide. At KHAS, the importance of scientific and technical analysis has been proven by recently funded international and national projects. The total number of R&D projects supported by TÜBİTAK, the top national R&D support institution, reached 90 within the last 4 years. KHAS has been active in international research cooperation, participating in many EU Framework Programme projects.
